On 22 April at 01:08 a.m., Daisy gave birth to her first puppy — a girl weighing 420 g. Over the following 5 hours, she delivered 9 more babies. She then took a 3.5-hour break, during which we decided to visit the veterinary clinic in Trnava for an ultrasound and X-ray examination. There, we confirmed that there were still 2 puppies in her belly. By 13:25 in the afternoon, Daisy had delivered the last 2 girls. Although we had to wait a little longer for the final puppies, we are very happy that the birth went without complications and that all puppies are doing well. All puppies have correct ridges and white markings within the breed standard. One girl with a liver nose and one girl with a black nose have slight kinks in their tails. No DS has been detected at this time. |
